I only had a day to spend in Rotorua and am really glad I opted for the Happy Ewe cycle tour. I got to see all the main sites in the town and find out all about them which I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do on my own. Roger was a great guide - full of facts and figures - and a very positive and friendly attitude. I particularly enjoyed learning about some of the Maori legends and folklore. I highly recommend the tour - a really fun and informative way to see all that the town has to offer. |

I had a beautiful sunny day in Rotorua and wanted a way to really experience the town. Deciding to go on a Happy Ewe bike tour was a great decision! The guide, Roge, is a Rotorua native and enthusiastically shares his passion for his home with his guests. I enjoyed learning about the geothermal activity in town, as well as Rotorua's Maori history. Roge certainly has a great memory for some tricky names and interesting stories. It made the places we were visiting come all the more alive, and give a greater experience than I could have had on my own. I highly recommend this as a fun AND affordable activity in Rotorua. |

We only spent a brief time in Rotorua, and this tour was the perfect way to see the town and all it has to offer! Cycling was a great way to see the area, and we loved riding through the middle of geothermal fields. Roger was fantastic - his enthusiasm and knowledge for the unique environment of Rotorua was amazing. And nothing beats a foot spa after a long day! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting an overview of the town, especially on a budget. |

I have been in New Zealand for nearly 5 years, and have been to Rotorua 4 or 5 times in the past. Roge made me discover some sites I never heard of before, and told me the various stories and Maori legends associated with his great city. I really enjoyed the balance between volcanic activity, Maori tales and Rotorua’s more recent history. The hot foot spa at the end was a bonus! Roge is a great guy, very friendly and if you ask, he will tell you all the good stuff you can do in Rotorua without spending too much money. He even knows a few words in French! All in all, I think this is the best value for money activity I have done in New Zealand! |

Your tour turns that day in one of the most enjoyable of my entire staying in NZ. Not only a real deal for time savers, also a great insight of this gorgeous city and its history - official and oral - if you plan to stay for a while. Moreover, if you want to understand -and ultimately be convinced- of the truly magic of Rotorua, this tour is a must - besides the ancient fun of riding a bike! |
